Alsatian Corner Louis XVI Walnut

Presented in its own juice, before restoration, this spectacular corner cabinet opens with two doors at the bottom, a flap and a large door in the upper body and featuring a "bottom of bottles" stained glass window crimped with lead. Original decor, crenellated pattern for the cornice, the large corner pilasters are carved with a pattern of horizontal rods simulating the azure bronze plates dressing certain Parisian furniture from the same period. Also rare, the boss, spandrel style in relief which connects the moldings of the door frame. Blond Walnut, Alsace late 18th century.
