Alsatian cabinet with seven columns incorporating all the criteria of the Strasbourg workshops. The facade is decorated with geometric motifs inlaid in local wood, the seven ringed columns are in ash, the sculpted motifs, angel heads, grotesques, lion's muzzles, shells, bouquets composed of country flowers and draperies are made of contrasting wood, whose style is drawn from the Strasbourg and Alsatian ornamental repertoire of the 17th century. A special feature in the center of the doors is an octagonal bastioned cushion motif whose contours are decorated with wavy moldings. The types of wood used are maple, grain and burl walnut, ash, oak, cormer, linden, and fir for the frame. The door hinges are in wrought iron, tinned and decorated with scrolls and scrolls, the lock also has a finely engraved plate, beautiful ironwork in a remarkable state of conservation. This beautiful cabinet opens with two doors and two drawers, the design and dimensions follow the principles laid down by the corporations of the time: base with drawers in which fit the two halves of the central body assembled together by large keys, the coronation tops it all off. In the center of the cornice a carved wooden cartouche bears a date: 1700
