Casket Bagard 18th century

Between Nancy and Bar le Duc a forest gave it's name to the wood utilized for precious objects of the 18th century.
The wood of Sainte Lucie, usually called wood of Bagard,the name of the woodcarvers line who brought these very fine carved pieces, looking like the goldsmith's carvings work of this 18th century into fashion.
