Chest of drawers called master marquetry Alsace 18

Rare master piece, preliminary reduced model for the realization of a beautiful ceremonial piece of furniture, this small chest of drawers curved on three sides, inlaid with walnut and maple, mosaic pattern, is from the 18th century, Alsatian workshop, probably Strasbourg.
Everything is in diminutive form, the engraved keyholes are in silver, the locks, even the edges of the top molded in corbin's beak and the edges of the drawers are shaped with end grain walnut, contrasting with the grain wood of the crimps.
