Empire Console Return From Egypt

Empire console Return from Egypt, flamed mahogany veneer, Saint Anne gray marble top. On the front, base with sheath pilasters topped with busts of Egyptian women in gilt bronze and antique green patina, plinth base supported at the front by claw feet in carved wood, lacquered and bronze green patina, and on the rear by a turned baluster. The back is covered with a mirror set between two uprights with flat pilasters. Beautiful ceremonial piece of furniture. Period early 19th century.
