Russian Wedding by Stojanov

Constantine Piotr Stojanov is an artist of Bulgarian origin born in 1857, who studied at the Academy of Saint Petersburg. Specialist in Russian weddings, he loved to reproduce these festive and traditional atmospheres, framed by snowy countryside. We have two works of identical format, which can form a pair, a spectacular wooden frame and gilded stucco. Oil on canvas signed C. Stojanov. XIXth century.
