18th Century Inlaid Curved Commode

Curved on the sides and the front, this dresser opens with two drawers. Decor inlaid and engraved with simulated shells and herringbone nets enclosing reserves on the drawers with a geometric background of diamond patterns, and on the sides of curling in four leaves. Period bronzes and locks. The top is in Sarrancolin marble, and has a beautiful Corbin beak molding on three sides, it has undergone a skilful restoration, very little visible. The back is with a molded panel. The frame is in oak and resinous and the marquetry in maple, oak, orchard. Beautiful regional work from the 18th century in very good condition.
